It was actually really great, although I had no idea what I was going into. My mom and I volunteered all three days so we could get some crash space. It actually worked out really well in the end although everything was a bit of a mess with the hotels and such. We had to get in 24 hours to get a room so I did a lot of work. Lets see, I put chains on thousands of badges for 14 hours, I worked the pre-reg table for a few hours, guard duty in the dealer's room for 3 hours (such an awful job) v_v, stood at the door for the FMV contest and handed out and collected hundreds upon hundreds of ballots for 2 1/2 hours, and I did line duty for the masquerade. That line was enormous, it filled three floors, and almost went outside. I know because I carried the end of the line sign. xD And I got a little cosplay of Sable in for a few hours too on Saturday. No one knew who I was, it was great. I also hung out with *Nukenai for a bit in the dealer's room, it was a lot fun. I bought two little Oofuri keychains and a Hibari phone chain. Yes, I got another phone chain. Does this make it thirty now? I wonder if my phone can hang on any longer... Afterwards, the volunteers and staff went to a bowling party and we watched as everyone got drunk. My team (the Kinky Barnacles, I had no hand in the naming) was completely crushed by Team Drunks...>_>. That is correct. For the next three days, well it was really only two because we slept in until 5:00 pm on Monday, we hung out in Mystic which is about an hours drive from Hartford. We painted a picture in the seaport and walked around town. It was so hot, I thought we were going to melt into piles of goo at any minute. Thankfully it got cooler on the trip home because my car has no air conditioner. xD
